Description

Complete Sport-Kit from Sachs RACE with steel-single mass flywheel for the 2.0L TSI EA888 engine of the new generation 3 like Golf 7 GTI.

The original dual mass flywheel provides better starting comfort, but it is too heavy and more importantly, it is not suitable for high torque transmission. We offer a reinforced clutch from Sachs with a steelsingle mass flywheel.

  • Max. transmittable engine torque: 600 Nm, with the sinter disc even up to 700 Nm are feasible.
  • For vehicles with single disc clutch
  • Includes single mass flywheel, clutch pressure plate and clutch disc selectable with organic or sintered metal linings. All necessary screws are also included, so you can install the kit immediately plug and play.

It is mandatory to use a suitable release bearing. 

When converting to a single-mass flywheel, rattling noises may occu in neutral.. However, these are harmless and occur in the transmission. As soon as the clutch is pressed, these noises disappear.

The only remedy is a harmonic vibration damper but the noises will not disappear completely. In addition, of course, the pedal force increases, since the clutch is designed for higher torques.
