GARRETT VENT | BLOW-OFF Valves with high flow for high performance engines

Garrett Vent | Blow-Off Valves were developed by the same engineers who designed the G-Series turbochargers and GVW wastegates.

GVB-50 is a high flow BOV with a 50mm valve available in four eye-catching colour combinations.

You have the choice between a BOV with venting to atmosphere (VTA) and one with recirculation (RCV).

Features:

  • CFD-tested for maximum flow and thermal efficiency
  • Replaceable components to extend service life
  • Robust construction for easy membrane replacement
  • 6061 anodised aluminium BOV cover and fully machined billet housing
  • Maximum flow 350 CFM | .21kg/s for GVB-50R
  • Four outlet adapters for the return valve are available separately
  • Base pressure 0.7 Bar | 10 PSI (blue and white spring installed)
  • Configurable spring settings: 0.2 Bar | 3 PSI - 0.9 Bar | 13 PSI
  • Welded aluminium alloy flange
  • Garrett BOV contains five springs that allow fine tuning of the pressure setting
  • Springs: 17/7 PH stainless steel
  • Coated stem and bushing for reduced friction and wear resistance
  • High temperature resistant elastomer diaphragm reinforced with Nomex
  • Fittings and fastening elements made of stainless steel
  • BOV flange dimensions as for TIAL Q or QR valves

 

GVB-50 Blow Off Valves include all of the following parts:

  • Air connection parts (nuts, bolts, washers)
  • V-band set (V-band, screw, nut)
  • O-ring (inlet flange)
  • Welding flange
  • Springs (replacement: red, green, brown | installed: blue, white)
