This valve set made it possible to install a fast, responsive thrust recirculation valve in the 1.5 TSI engine. Because the engine does not come with a diverter valve as standard, Forge Motorsport has developed a double-piston drain valve that not only looks good when the throttle valve is closed, but also responds when changing gears.
The Forge diverter valve prevents the resulting boost pressure on the compressor wheel and thus the perception of the turbocharger.
