The adapter is specifically designed and engineered for Garrett's new G-Series with integrated wastegate valve. Due to the modern and well thought-out exhaust gas routing, a particularly good efficiency can be achieved in conjunction with the Garrett G-Series reverse turbochargers. As with the original turbochargers, the exhaust gases from the engine are directed onto the turbine wheel in a flow-optimised manner. This ensures an enormously improved response and a much higher efficiency than, for example, BorgWarner turbochargers.
The internal wastegate valve of the G-series allows for a simple and cost-effective conversion. The adapter flange, which is manufactured in large series quality, is virtually indestructible and is also a visual treat. The turbochargers are temperature resistant up to 1050° C due to a MAR turbine wheel and a stainless steel exhaust housing. Unlike the BorgWarner EFR turbochargers, which are limited to 950° C, you can realize the full potential of your high-performance engine.
