Manual Race Chain Tensioner for all VW 2.8-2.9L VR6 engines.

The Manual Chain Tensioner is designed to replace the oem hydraulic cam chain tensioner. The OEM Hydraulic tensioners have a tendency to put too much tension on the chain guide under high rpm/high oil pressure conditions, resulting in loss of power and premature wear of the cam chain guides. With our manual chain tensioner you can adjust the chain 100% correctly.
