Description

Flex pipe compensator completely made of stainless steel, gas-tight and extremely stable. Optimal for downpipes.
The compensator has an internal pipe, whereby the exhaust gas flow runs without turbulence and the temperatures do not directly hit the flexible outer shafts. However, the pipe does result in a small taper. We therefore always recommend choosing a slightly larger compensator. Optimal use is the construction of wastegate lines and Y-pipes.

Attention:
A compensator, as the name suggests, compensates for expansion due to temperature. For example at Wastegate in a Downpipe or manifold. It is used in such hot places to absorb the expansion of the pipes to avoid cracking.
A compensator is not able to take larger loads and is therefore not suitable as a flex pipe replacement in an exhaust system. Here we recommend a reinforced interlock flex pipe from our range.
