Description

BAR-TEK® Racing Alu oil pan with cooling fins for 1.8 & 2.0L TSI EA888 engines of the third.
The oil pan is CNC machined from a full block of aluminum. Thanks to the complex machining on a CNC milling center, we were able to implement great features, such as:

  • Cooling fins on the entire surface,
  • optimal heat dissipation through high quality material,
  • Stiffening of the engine block, thanks to high-strength aluminum - instead of the original plastic oil pan,
  • more oil volume, which ensures a better oil supply.

The cooling fins and the high-quality aluminum significantly improve heat dissipation and thus cooling. Furthermore, the aluminum oil pan is much more stable than the original plastic oil pan and thereby also stiffens the engine block.


Features of our BAR-TEK® upgrade oil pan:
  • Milled from full aluminum and therefore more stable
  • Better heat dissipation through aluminum
  • Better cooling through cooling fins
  • Elaborately CNC milled (processing time 7.5 hours)
  • Very good workmanship, all surfaces face milled
  • Lightweight, only 2.5kg and ultra stable
  • Plus 2 liters of oil volume for additional engine cooling by up to 15 °C!
  • including our magnetic oil drain plug

The underbody paneling must be underlaid with spacer sleeves.
