High End stud bolt Kit for the cylinder head for all transversely installed 1.8T 20V.
A MUST for all engines that run with high charge pressure and ARP is not yet stable enough!
BAR-TEK® stud bolt have a hexagon socket to screw in the stud bolt. Due to a cone on the block side of the bolts, they do not rest on the thread flanks when tightening the nuts, but in the bore of the thread in the engine block . This support protects the threads during frequent assembly of racing engines.
Up to 35% stronger than ARP bolts.
incl. bag of Moly Paste
Tightening torque in three stages. Last stage 110 Nm.
Note: From 1998 onwards the diameter of the head bolts has been changed from 11mm to 10mm.
