The shim kit contains a series of hardened, precision ground shims in different thicknesses to fine tune the backlash. Both on the 17/45 ratio ring and the 17/41 ratio ring.

The complete kit includes each of the four required shims in five thicknesses in 0.1-mm increments, for a total of 20 shims.
